Treatment

Plinest® Hair Polynucleotides

Plinest® Hair is an advanced regenerative injectable treatment designed to improve scalp health and to support and increase natural hair growth. Highly purified polynucleotides from Salmon Trout DNA are precisely injected into the areas of thinning hair creating an optimal environment for hair growth.

Introduction

Plinest® Hair Polynucleotides

The treatment works by stimulating the hair follicles and their repair processes and also creating an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. The cells of the hair follicle are stimulated which all supports increased hair growth. This is a treatment that is often used as part of a comprehensive hair restoration programme.

Plinest Hair is suitable for men and women experiencing the early stages of hair loss and thinning hair. Reduced hair density and increased shedding of hair can be distressing and this is a treatment that can be beneficial for male and female pattern hair loss. It can also support a patient before and after their hair transplant journey.

Polynucleotides are biostimulators that encourage cellular repair and therefore help to improve hair growth and the quality of the scalp and hair environment. This healthier environment can lead to reduced shedding and optimal conditions for health hair growth.

Questions
You May Have

Does it hurt?

Patients usually describe the treatments as mildly uncomfortable. There is no need for messy numbing cream and you can leave clinic with little or no downtime to worry about.

How many treatments are required?

Usually we would recommend a course of 6 – 8 treatments and to have the first 4 of these at 1 – 2 week intervals moving onto 3 – 4 weekly intervals for the remaining treatments.

Can I have the treatment if I am also using medical treatments to support my hair growth?

The answer to this is usually yes as polynucleotides can be used alongside most hair growth medical treatments.  You can discus all of this in your consultation that you have with us before considering any hair improvement treatments.
